Million Dollar Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At New York Wegmans

One lucky shopper at Wegmans is one million dollars richer.

The New York State Lottery announced that one Powerball ticket that was sold at a Wegmans in New York took home the 2nd place prize of One Million Dollars from last night's Powerball Drawing.

That ticket matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball and took home the 2nd place prize. That ticket was sold at the Wegmans at 7952 Brewerton Road in Cicero.

That wasn't the only "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. One other ticket matched four out of five numbers and had the Powerball number which means it won the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

Monday's Winning Powerball numbers were: 12-16-33-39-52 with a Powerball of 01.

No one took home the grand prize from Monday's drawing which makes Wednesday's jackpot now worth $129 million dollars.

Wegmans is one of the luckiest places to buy a lottery ticket in New York. In fact it is the 3rd luckiest place in New York State to buy lottery tickets. They sold 281 big winning tickets since 2012.
