“It’s Raining Cats and Dogs” and Other Sayings Explained [GALLERY]
Rabbit holes. I am the master of finding myself falling right into them and all of their twists and turns. I'm not complaining, not at all. I actually love my little rabbit hole adventures because I never quite know where I'll end up or what I'll learn.

Yesterday, I divulged what I'd learned about the saying, "In like a lion, out like a lamb." I think most of us have had that saying pop into our head whenever March rolls around but for me, the desire to discover the origin, was because the saying flew out of my mouth to my six-year-old who looked at me with wondering eyes and wanted to know what it meant and where it came from.
In my research to discover where the saying to kick off the month of March originated, I found a slew of other completely fascinating stories behind some phrases that we've been saying forever and I'm so excited to share them with you now.
