Injured Hawk Rescued On Interstate 88

There are over 200 types of Hawks found around the world, except for Antarctica. In the wild, a Hawk's lifespan is between 10 and 20 years, but in captivity, they could live up to 30 years.

The Facebook post states that the motorist was driving on Interstate 88 when she noticed an injured Hawk and stopped to see if she could help the bird. An Otsego County Sheriff's deputy was also traveling in the area and stopped to assist.
