Not one of the few who managed to get tickets to Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester benefit concert? It's cool, you can still be part of the healing, as ABC has announced it will air the June 4 show from several of its property channels.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC and Freeform will both air the memorial concert, the proceeds of which will support the victims of the horrific bombings at Grande's May 22 show in Manchester, where more than 20 were killed and close to 60 were injured. The site clarifies that it will air on "many of our ABC stations after the NBA finals and also on Freeform live" and advised fans to check their local listings for more information.
Twitter will also be live streaming the concert. See the full details below.
Twitter is live streaming the "One Love Manchester" benefit concert with Ariana Grande and special guests. The show, in aid of Manchester attack victims and their families, will be streamed on Sunday June 4th at 7:00PM BST / 2:00 PM EST and will be available globally for free on Twitter and connected devices. Visit @TwitterLive or @ArianaGrande to view the stream on Twitter.
In addition, Twitter will give fans and viewers the ability to donate to the cause directly from Ariana's official fan page on Twitter. Anyone who likes or RTs @TeamAriana's Tweet featuring the live stream will get an auto-reply from @TeamAriana with a link to donate. Fans can also donate on Twitter through a special "Donate" tab that will sit alongside the live stream.
Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and more will play at the show, which will broadcast from Manchester's Old Trafford cricket ground. Grande first announced the benefit on May 30. It will be her first show since the attacks and is expected to raise more than $2 million for those in need.
Grande first addressed the attacks in various social media posts on May 26, through which she urged fans to keep living their lives as colorfully as possible.
“I don’t want to go the rest of the year without being able to see and hold and uplift my fans, the same way they continue to uplift me,” she wrote. “Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before.”
