You probably won't be having a large crowd over anytime soon (thanks, coronavirus), but maybe you're like my family and you buy fresh corn whenever you see that it's on sale. Maybe you buy corn in bulk to can or freeze it so that you can have a taste of summer over the long winter months.

Whatever your reason for needing to cook a large quantity of corn, cooler corn is, in my opinion, the easiest way to do it. And as an added bonus, you won't have to keep an eye on the grill or stand over a hot stove on a scorching day. Once you've boiled some water and plunked your corn in a cooler, you're free to do whatever it is you need to do while the corn cooks.
