Billy Martin was the manager of the New York Yankees five times (yes, five different times). An article in the Daily News written in 1989 explained that Martin, “played on five World Series champions, and he was the MVP of the World Series once.” The article continues, “So they loved Billy Martin, no matter what. He was Casey’s boy. He got to room with DiMaggio. He was Mickey Mantle’s best friend, and he ran with Mickey and Whitey."

And now, nearly thirty-one years after his passing, Billy Martin’s Port Crane house is once again on the market with the opening bid starting at $500,000 plus a 10 percent buyers premium. The new owner of the property will find themself with nearly 85 acres of land, a private 7-acre lake, 2,500 feet of water frontage, a house that’s just over 5,000 square feet, 4 bedrooms, including a 1,600 square foot master suite, 3.5 baths, and a heap more.
