The Central New York theater world is buzzing with excitement about the Hamilton performance at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, running now until March 27 after it was postponed last spring because of the pandemic.

People have been holding on to their tickets waiting for its return and those who weren't able to get tickets the first time around are scooping them up now. If you're one of those lucky to be going, there are some COVID policies in place that you need to know about.

Hamilton At Landmark Theater In Syracuse

If you have tickets for seats in the first two rows of The Landmark, the folks putting on Hamilton are requiring that you put on a face mask in order to watch the performance. While masks are optional for the rest of the audience, The Landmark Theater is suggesting that everyone wear one.

The Landmark Theater is not requiring guests to show proof of being vaccinated against COVID-19 or a negative COVID test in order to see the Hamilton performance. However, don't be surprised if you see people in masks because anyone who works for the Landmark Theater is still required to wear a face mask.

If you want to go to the show, its running until March 27th each weeknight at 7:30 p.m., on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If you're planning on going with a group, keep in mind that there is a nine-ticket limit for each performance of Hamilton.

Fun fact: Neil Haskell, the actor who plays King George III in Hamilton at The Landmark Theater in Syracuse was part of the original cast in the Broadway run of Hamilton.
