During the Chamber’s Annual Dinner and Meeting May 14, Board Chair Peter Newman announced Jennifer Conway is resigning at the end of June to take a job with a national search firm.

Details about the recruitment and transition process will be announced at a later date.

The 55th annual meeting was attended by 530 Chamber members, including 127 new members added last year. That was a 20 percent increase in membership over the previous year and the largest number of new members since 2004 according to the Chamber.

Accomplishments over the past year that were highlighted at the dinner included the launch of Broome Women Lead to support women in the community, the Experience BING program helping businesses to attract talent and the Greater Binghamton Education Outreach Program that connects students with career paths and opportunities locally.
