It's that time of year again, that time of year when you walk out of Sam's Club or Wal-mart in Vestal and hear a little girl ask if you would like to purchase some Girl Scout cookies. And while they probably sell a lot of boxes outside of those stores, I wish I could buy stock in Girl Scout cookies after reading this news.

According to KHOU, the Girl Scouts will be allowed to sell their cookies outside marijuana dispensaries in Colorado.

The Girl Scouts used to have a rule that prohibited cookie sales outside adult-oriented businesses. But now with the sale of marijuana being legal in Colorado, it only makes sense to set up shop right out front. I'm sure all the people who buy the pot will end up with the munchies after they indulge, and I'm sure they will find a flavor of Girl Scout Cookies that will hit the spot.

According to KHOU, last year, a 9-year-old Girl Scout sold boxes of cookies outside a California dispensary in San Diego.

If and when the recreational use of marijuana is approved in New York State, I think it would be a smart business decision to put a Taco Bell right next to a dispensary in the Binghamton area. I can just see the sign out front now, "you are going to crave them in a few minutes anyway, why not get them while you're here".

Or, maybe start a convince store next to the dispensary. I'm sure it would be challenging to keep the potato chip shelves fully stocked.
