Futuristic Vestal Hotel Back on Track for November Opening

A futuristic hotel being built on the Vestal Parkway that saw an unexplained stop in construction in September is apparently all set to open in a matter of weeks.

Tru by Hilton was supposed to be open by the middle of this year but work stopped at the site for several weeks last month.  A representative from Corning-based Visions Hotels, which was to operate the facility, said in September the facility would open in November or December while the hotel website at the time announced a February 3^rd opening.

The Hilton hotel website indicates the Vestal Parkway Tru site is to open in early 2020.

A news release October 22 said Tru by Hilton Vestal has hired a General Manger and is expected to open late next month.

The hotel is owned by Vestal Lodging Ventures, LLC and managed by Visions Hotels LLC.
