Free Rides to the Polls on Election Day Being Offered from Uber and Lyft

Election Day is quickly approaching, as well as the deadline to register to vote.

On November 6, Uber and Lyft will be offering free rides to polling places.

A brand new button will appear within the apps on Election Day, allowing voters to locate their polling place AND book a free ride in order to have their voices heard.

Rides will be free from Lyft and Uber and partially funded by #VoteTogether and Democracy Works.

There is also opportunities for political campaigns to offer free rides. Campaigns can simply get in touch with the ride-sharing companies and receive promo codes to distribute to voters.
