Former Endicott Nirchi’s Restaurant Turned Into Banquet Facility
A banquet facility has opened in a building that once was home to a popular restaurant on Endicott's Washington Avenue.
Allen Memorial Home acquired the property that had been used by Nirchi's on the Avenue one year ago. The building had been unused since the restaurant closed in January 2019.
The site is located a short distance from the funeral home, which is on East Main Street.
Allen Memorial Home office manager Michael Romeo said the banquet facility is called Celebrations on the Avenue.
The first event at the venue was a meeting of the Endicott Rotary Club last month.
Romeo said several other functions have been held at the facility and others have been scheduled. He said a few additional modifications will be made at the site in the coming months.
