Former Convenience Store Clerk Accused of Stealing Lottery Tickets

A former Oneonta convenience store clerk really has no luck after some lottery tickets landed him in trouble with the law.

21-year-old Tyler Green of Highmount is charged with grand larceny for allegedly stealing lottery tickets.

New York State Police say Green was working at the Speedway on State Highway 23 in the Town of Oneonta and is accused of taking lottery tickets in June of last year.  The loss in tickets was reported to total $1,976.

Green was located by Troopers from Margaretville March 20 and taken into custody.

Green has been ordered to appear in Town of Oneonta Court in April.
