Felony Charges in Johnson City Assault Investigation
A Johnson City man is facing felony counts for allegedly injuring his girlfriend during a fight at their Main Street Terrace apartment September 12.
Village Police say 45 year old Perry Passley is charged with felony aggravated criminal contempt and family offense. He is also charged with misdemeanor obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and assault.
Police say Passley is accused of grabbing the woman around the neck, choking her and pushing her to the floor, hitting the back of her head several times.
The woman was taken to Wilson Hospital for treatment. Passley had fled before police arrived but was located by Binghamton Police in the City.
Police say Passley had violated an order of protection and was sent to the Broome County Jail.
