First responders, medical workers, and essential personnel have had it rough the past few months. With coronavirus causing lots of concern for job safety, the mental toll has been great.

Those same workers got a huge treat Saturday that should lift their spirits.

Two World War Two-era planes from the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, the Douglas C-47 and P-51 Mustang, made a large trip spanning most of upstate New York on Saturday, which is also the anniversary of the D-Day invasion. Luckily, Binghamton was on the list of locations over which the planes would be flying.

Just afternoon, the planes flew over Lourdes Hospital, Wilson Hospital, and Binghamton General Hospital. Take a look below:
