Endicott Man Accused of Drunk Driving at 4X the Legal Limit
An Endicott man is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at more than four-times the legal limit and crashing the vehicle he was driving.
Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they arrested 50-year-old Timothy Gillette following a crash on Bornt Hill Road in the Town of Union shortly after 6:30 p.m. May 24 evening.
Authorities say Gillette showed indications of intoxication and was taken into custody after performing poorly on field sobriety tests. Deputies say he was found to have a blood alcohol content of .33%.
He was ticketed for driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
Gillette was ordered to appear in Town of Union Court at a later date.
