Crash Shuts Down Part of Route 38 in Newark Valley
Few details are being released but authorities in Tioga County are investigating a crash that knocked out power to a few customers in Newark Valley and shut down a portion of Route 38 early April 2.
The crash happened sometime around 2:30 and emergency officials reported Route 38 was closed from 38B to Rock Street for several hours.
New York State Electric and Gas reported power out on North and South Main Street. Electricity was back on before 6 a.m.
Tioga County Emergency Services could not say how many vehicles were involved or if there were any injuries.
