Easter in the Southern Tier – Family Friendly Activities
If you're looking for some fun things to do with your littles this Easter, here are some of the fun Easter themed events happening in and around Binghamton.
Looking for a massive Easter Egg Hunt? Two Rivers Assembly will host an Easter egg hunt with 25,000 eggs for your little ones to find! The hunt will be held on in Binghamton on Sunday, April 21st (Easter Sunday) immediately following each church service. There will be two church services, each the same, at 9:45 a.m and 11:30 a.m. The hunt is free and open to the public, but only kids who register and attend one of the church services will be allowed to participate. The Children’s Charity Easter Egg Hunt will kick off at 10:00 a.m. at Recreation Park in Binghamton on Saturday, April 20th. This event is free of charge. Refreshments will be provided and the Easter Bunny will be hopping by to greet and take pictures with children.
The Binghamton Zoo will host an Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st from March 31st and Sunday, April 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Your kids will have the opportunity to participate in an egg hunt, make crafts, meet the Easter bunny and enjoy many other cool things. The Discovery Center’s Annual Eggstra-Special Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 13th. All activities start at 11:00 a.m. and are free with museum admission. There will be a Bunny Hop Dance Party, Egg Hunt (which starts at 2:30 p.m.), and lots more. Admission rates apply.
The Town of Vestal will hold a free Easter egg hunt at Arnold Park on Saturday, April 13th starting at 11:00 a.m. This hunt is for ages 10 and younger. The park is always wet and windy, so wear boots and bring a jacket. If the weather isn't so great, you can get updates about the egg hunt by calling 607-754-3368.
The West Windsor Baptist Church will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20th from 1pm-3pm. The church is located at 166 North Road in Windsor. This event is free for kids ages 12 and younger.
The Roberson Museum hosts an exciting Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be crafts, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and an Easter Egg hunt, which will take place on the Mansion lawn as long as the weather holds out at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. Admission rates apply.
The Windsor Public Library at 107 Main Street in
Windsor. Join the Windsor Public Library for a free story, Easter Egg Hunt, and a craft, snack time on Saturday, April 6th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. If you plan to attend, please call or text 607-761-4379 or 607-760-5295.
The kids will love sharing a meal with the Easter Bunny at Wegmans in Johnson City on Saturday, April 13th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The cost is $8 per plate for adults and $5 for kids who are 10 and younger. For more information, call 607-729-7782.
The Town of Kirkwood Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 6th at the Floyd Bell Elementary School beginning at 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to all kids between the ages of 1 and 12. As long as the weather is nice, the egg hunt will be held outside, but if the weather is less than desirable, it'll be held inside the school gym.
The West Family YMCA will host a free Aqua Egg Hunt Saturday, April 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Learn more here.
Enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny, crafts, games, and more at Endwell United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 13th between 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for kids, and those under 5 are free.
Triumphant Life Church at 1511 Davis Avenue in Endwell will host an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Elizabeth Church Campus Courtyard at 863 Front Street in Binghamton will host Easter in the Courtyard and the community is invited to attend. This event will take place on Saturday, April 13th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Learn more by calling 607-722-5521 ext. 233.
Berkshire presents their first ever Easter egg hunt at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton on Sunday, April 14th at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome!
Join the Integrated Activity Center at 365 Harry L Drive in Johnson City for their third annual egg hunt on Saturday, April 20th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each kid will have the chance to find up to five filled eggs and one lucky person will have the chance to one egg with a coupon for one free admission to the Center and a giant chocolate bunny. You and your family are invited to a free Easter egg hunt at First Baptist of Maine on Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This event is for ages 2 to 12 and will feature information on the real meaning of Easter as well as a balloon artist, egg hunt, and the chance to win a bike.
Boscov's on Court Street in Binghamton will host a free Easter Bunny Hop on Saturday, April 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Follow the trail to find delicious treats and prizes. No registration is needed to attend this event.
The Town of Binghamton Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All kids are guaranteed 12 prize-filled eggs as well as a goodie bag. There will be free photos with the Easter bunny as well as a variety of family activities. All ages are welcome and the cost is $3 per person. If you'd like to participate, please register by Friday, April 12th.
West Windsor Baptist Church will host a free community Easter Egg Hunt for kids 12 and younger on Saturday, April 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be an egg hunt, face painting, snacks, an interactive Easter story presentation and more. This is a rain or shine event.
Owego Nazarene Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. While this event is free, registration is required. There will be games and food, a bounce house, and even the Easter Bunny.
