Dryden Man Accused of Threatening to Shoot Up Cortlandville Walmart
A Cortland County man is accused of threatening to shoot all the occupants of the Walmart Store in the Town of Cortlandville.
Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the store at 1:48 a.m. October 15 with the report of a telephone threat. An employee said the caller threatened to shoot everyone in the Bennie road store.
Sheriff’s Investigators and the Dryden Police Department found 32-year-old Veasna Pedersen at his home on West Main Street in Dryden and charged him with felony making a terroristic threat and misdemeanor aggravated harassment.
Authorities say no weapons were displayed or located during the investigation.
Pederson was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
