Drinking at Work Could Make You Better at Your Job
Is this a joke? No! More like a late Christmas present. A study was done at the University of Illinois at Chicago and it says that a little alcohol at work can support creative thinking.
Researchers found that a little bit of inebriation can get the creative juices flowing nicely. Those who had a blood alcohol level (BAC) of just below .08 percent performed better in a creative task than their sober counterparts.
However, the intoxicated group underperformed on certain tasks.
My problem is that I can't have just one or two. I am a very immature drinker, if you didn't already gather that.
If you got excited about this study then you might just love a fun event that's coming up in February called 'Binghamton on Tap'! Check out all the details right here!
