Many of us have gone to fairs or festivals and had deep-fried unhealthy foods. Deep-fried foods like Oreos, Twinkies and Snickers.

I even tried deep-fried Kool-Aid once! The deep fried Kool-Aid was Kool-Aid was mixed into a dough and deep fried. It reminded me of a donut. We've even heard of deep-fried butter! I will not be trying that ever! But there is a new deep-fried food hitting one fair. Check this out!

The San Diego County Fair is gonna be offering deep-fried slim fast bars. What's the point?!? The vendor who decided to try to deep-fry Slim fast bars said that he was dieting and he was eating those because they clocked in around 200 calories. So one day he decided to code and batter and fry it and then he topped it off with powdered sugar and chocolate.  He says it's delicious saying "I honestly think it is better than deep-fried Oreos."

He also goes on to add that the batter, powdered sugar, chocolate and deep frying adds 500 calories on top of the 200. So if you're heading to the San Diego County Fair you can try a deep fried slim fast bar that will clock in at 700 calories! And if you do go and try it, you need to let us know how it is!
