Angeline was the head football coach at Union-Endicott High School from 1960 - 92.  He also was the school's long-time boys tennis coach and finished with 378 victories.

In football his Union-Endicott Tigers were one of the most successful and feared high school teams in the state during his tenure as head coach.  Angeline compiled a record of 196-73-7 before retiring after the 1992 season. His 1979 and 1989 teams finished as the number one-ranked team in New York State in each of those seasons.

In 2014 the Fieldhouse at Union-Endicott's Ty Cobb Stadium was named in his honor.  In 2015 Coach Angeline was among those honored with induction into the inaugural class of the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame.  Before coaching he was a standout on the football field at Colgate University where he was the team's captain in 1955.

Following his coaching career Coach Angeline stayed involved with football as a coaching consultant, analyst on several  television high school football highlight shows and color commentator on high school "Game of the Week" broadcasts on News Radio 1290 WNBF.  He also authored a book about his coaching career and favorite eating establishments frequented by his staff on scouting trips titled "This Tiger's Tale". Funeral services have not been finalized as of yet.
