I haven't exactly done extensive research (okay, I haven't done any research), but in all of my years on this earth, I have yet to meet another human being who loves corn more than my little boy does. My son has loved corn since he was old enough to eat solid foods. Fresh, frozen, creamed, on the cob, it doesn't matter. John shovels corn into his little mouth with some serious might.

If you enjoy corn as much as my little guy does, you won't want to miss Windsor's Third Annual Corn Festival and Tractor Show! The fun kicks off at 12 p.m. this Saturday, August 24 at Klumpp Park in the Village of Windsor.

At the Corn Festival, you'll find a little something for everyone- from corn husking to a chicken BBQ and even a corn hole tournament. There will also be activities for the kids, a history of corn, corn-related food vendors and so much more including tractors!

Admission to the Windsor Corn Festival is free, but you're encouraged to bring a canned good or two to be donated to Windsor's Human Development Food Pantry.
