Celebrate Father’s Day and World Giraffe Day in Harpursville
Talk about a fun day for dad! The Southern Tier has begun to open back up and after three months of being quarantined, our community is itching to get out of the house and do things.
Father's Day and World Giraffe Day are only one day apart this year, but Harpursville's Animal Adventure Park has found a way to combine the two into one special day. When you take your dad to Animal Adventure Park this Sunday, June 21, for Father’s Day, dad will get in free, and to celebrate World Giraffe Day, there will be special giraffe themed crafts and activities.
You’ll have an exclusive opportunity to peek into the Giraffe Barn One and to celebrate with Oliver, April, Taj, and Johari. There will be a special Keeper treat hand out for April and Taj at 12:00 P.M. on Sunday and Oliver and Johari will get their turn at 1:00 P.M.
A portion of admissions during the Father’s Day/World Giraffe Day Celebration will benefit the giraffe conservation initiative in the wild. Social distancing during this event will be mandatory and Animal Adventure Park expects that there may be times during the day when the park reaches maximum capacity so they ask for your patience as they get you in as quickly as they can.
