Candor Man Accused of Pointing a Rifle at Deputies

A Candor man is accused of making death threats and pointing a rifle toward Tioga County Sheriff’s Deputies.

Authorities arrested 34 year old Daniel Nixon July 10 after they responded to a report of an incident in Candor.

Nixon is being charged with menacing a police officer, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $25,000 bail.
