This year will be the 7th Anniversary, or as organizers are calling it the 7th Scoop, for the Lick Breast Cancer Music Festival and Ice Cream Social Saturday September 12th at the Pines Pavilion Route 26 in Endicott.

It's a family-friendly event that is highlighted by some of the best local bands that donate their time for the great cause. This year's lineup will include The Woodshed Prophets, L'Bonti, Drama Scream, Messy Truth, The Tijuana Danger Dogs, The Bro Bros, Last Call, The Kiil, The Egomaniacs, The Tim Ruffo Band, and Wreckless Marcy.

There will be bounce houses, face painting and balloons for the kids, and basket raffles, a dunk tank, food provided by Pines Pavilion and Ozzy's Brisket and BBQ Grill, Hershey's Ice Cream, and of course alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Admission is $10 at the door and all proceeds this year will go to help Teresa Johnson and her family as she battles breast cancer.

Chris and I go to this event every year. We go and get some food while checking out some bands and we take our chances on the basket raffles. We go every year because it's a fun event and it helps out a local woman in need.

The event is held rain or shine because they have the bands playing under a large tent and there is plenty of space under the pavilion behind what used to be the Country Pines. There is plenty of room at the Pines Pavilion so you can keep a safe social distance from other people while having a great time.

More information on this event can be found on their website.
