A Binghamton woman is facing a felony charge in connection with a report of a theft of items from a Main Street, Johnson City store.

Village Police say 22 year old Stephanie Wormuth is charged with felony robbery.

Police say she’s accused of stuffing items in a bag at the Save-a-Lot store April 4th and trying to leave without paying for them.

Wormuth allegedly pushed and kicked employees as they stopped her.  The workers managed to hold her at the store until police arrived.

Authorities also determined Wormuth was wanted on several warrants out of the City of Binghamton.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.
