Did You See This Binghamton University Grad Compete On Jeopardy?

I have to admit, I watch the comedy skits about Jeopardy on Saturday Night Live more than I watch the actual Jeopardy game show. I'm sure that shows my level of intelligence, right?

Well, I am not good at answering trivia questions. It's not that don't know any of the answers. It's the stress of the moment causing my mind to go blank. Sound like a good excuse? It's the best I could come up with quickly.

Anyway, I found out that on January 6th, 2022, a Binghamton University alumna competed on the Jeopardy game show. Her name is Terry Wolfisch Cole, and The Jeopardy Fan website describes her as a professional storyteller from West Simsbury, Connecticut.

The Binghamton University Alumni Association Facebook page lists Terry as the founder and director of Tell Me Another: Ordinary Lives, Extraordinary Stories. She graduated from Binghamton University in 1986.

Terry competed against Geoff Hoppe and Amy Schneider. Amy was on a 26 game winning streak, and as of today (January 13th), her winning streak has increased to 31 days.

That means Terry Wolfisch Cole did not win the January 6th Jeopardy. Going into the final round, Terry had $13,400 and was in second place. She bet $10,600 and got the answer wrong, bringing her final total to $2,800 and third place according to The Jeopardy Fan website.

At least Terry's answer was from the correct city. I would have had no idea, and that's why you'll never see me on Jeopardy, or your local bar trivia night as well.
