City officials are warning vehicle owners not to park along the route of the St. Patrick's Parade.

Mayor Richard David said the "No Parking" rules will be aggressively enforced start at 10 p.m. on Friday.

The enforcement area includes Main Street from Arthur Street to the Court Street bridge. It also covers Court Street from the Court Street bridge to Carroll Street.

Vehicles parked in the restricted zone after 10 p.m. Friday will be towed.

Binghamton police also will enforce alternate side parking rules. Vehicles parked illegally and blocking snow plow routes will be towed.

The mayor said residents are "strongly encouraged" to move vehicles off streets into driveways, public garages or parking lots at city parks.
