Sayre Couple Out Thousands for Fabricated Checks

Pennsylvania State Police say someone fabricated three checks using a Sayre couple’s information and cashed them at the Visions Federal Credit Union in Elmira sometime between August 17 and August 23.

The couple has lost $7,188 in the theft.
