Authorities say 36-year-old Siobhan Sheppherd of Felters Road has been charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.

Investigators say Sheppherd is a former home healthcare worker. They say she is accused of stealing money and jewelry in excess of $1,000 from a client she had been caring for.

Sheppherd was arrested Friday following a three-week investigation. She was arraigned in Johnson City village court.

Sheppherd was released on her own recognizance pending further action in Broome County court.

Detectives did not indicate whether any of the stolen cash or jewelry had been recovered.
