Armed Robbery at Mirabito Convenience Store on Upper Court St.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the apparent armed robbery of a Five Mile Point convenience store early June 2.

A man reportedly robbed the Mirabito gas station on at 715 Upper Court Street at around 2:30 a.m.

The suspect is described as Black, standing about six feet tall, of slim build with dark facial hair and wearing a dark grey sweatshirt and matching pants and dark sneakers.

He appeared armed with a silver and black handgun and was last seen running toward the City of Binghamton carrying a white bag containing some items taken in the robbery.

There were no reports of injuries.
