Are You Ready to Rumble?

This Thursday is the home opener for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at NYSEG Stadium. The first 1,000 fans in attendance on opening night will receive a Binghamton Rumble Ponies blanket.

The homestand opens with four games against the Erie SeaWolves starting Thursday at 6:35. New Hampshire comes to town Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week.

There are some exciting new changes at the ballpark this year. The brand new video scoreboard will make its debut on Thursday and all the fans will be sitting in the brand new seats which will each have its own cup holder. (This is great for me so I'm not kicking my beer over during the game)

There are some new faces at NYSEG Stadium this year as well including the new Manager Kevin Boles.

According to WBNG TV, there will be some new food to enjoy at NYSEG Stadium too. Some of the new menu items include a new Lupo's sausage that's being called the "Firecracker" because it is said to be that spicy. According to the report, there will also be a new fried chicken & BBQ rib sandwich to enjoy while you watch the future Mets in action.

The food at NYSEG stadium is always awesome. In fact, they have so many great items on the menu it makes it hard to decide what to choose.

Again this year our sister station, News Radio 1290 a.m. WNBF will be carrying the majority of the Rumble Ponies' games. They will carry every game except for day games during the week. Those games will be broadcasted on our sister station CBS Sports Radio 1360.
