Over the past four decades, ACBC has not only helped those who face substance use, but also their families.

What truly sets ACBC apart is not just that they treat substance use disorder, but that it addresses mental health and trauma issues that someone experiencing substance abuse may have.

According to the Addiction Center of Broome County, many with substance use disorders have experienced trauma at some point and use substances to deal with the trauma.

ACBC utilizes trauma-specific services to address the root causes.

The organization is currently accepting patients for medication-assisted addiction treatment, utilizing suboxone, naltrexone, and vivitrol.

The Family Navigator program is available for the families of patients to be linked with supportive services in the community, including risk assessment, housing, outpatient services, mental health services, and more.

Individuals may receive services at ACBC's Binghamton location (30 West State Street), Endicott location (306 East Main Street), or in the community in Broome, Tioga, Tompkins, and Chenango Counties. Telemedicine options are also available for those who are reluctant to come in person or who have transportation challenges.
