If you plan on relaxing on the couch all weekend then beware!  According to a new study, having a lazy weekend could make Mondays feel worse!  Let me start by saying that I don't agree with this new study, but I would be curious to know what you think.

The new study found that a busy weekend is better stress relief than a lazy weekend on the couch.  Researchers found that a weekend feels six hours and 19 minutes LONGER if you're busy than if you're super lazy.  That's because we all subconsciously measure time by the number of MEMORIES we make . . . the more we make, the longer the weekend feels.

About one-third of people surveyed who had busy weekends said it felt like they were off THREE days.  Almost half of people who had lazy weekends said it felt like the weekend disappeared too quickly.  The people who had busier weekends also felt more de-stressed when it was time to go back to work on Monday.  (Daily Mail)

I totally understand that sometimes a weekend full of activity is fun and makes for some fond memories BUT, I also love a weekend where I just hang on the couch and watch movies.

What do you think about this survey?
