So many people make the New Years resolution to lose wight. If that's something you're planning on or perhaps you want to drop a few pounds to fit into your cute holiday outfits, you may want to try this new diet.

Researchers say they've figured out tricks to helping you lose weight! Here is what they say to do -

1. Eat all of your meals within an eight hour span.

2. Eat all your meals at the same times every day.

3. Don't eat anything after 4:00 P.M.

The researchers say it helps your body get on a schedule. During mice testing, the mice who ate within an eight-hour window lost more weight than mice eating the exact same number of calories but spread across a longer period of time. It was especially effective in mice that were obese. They dropped around 5% of their body weight in just a few days!

That sounds like a diet plan I could stick to! Although I am wondering if they would frown upon me for eating Ben & Jerry's...
