Sometimes I wish I could go back to my younger years just so that I could slow down and really enjoy every moment. Like every single other human being on planet earth, I was in such a rush to grow up and now that I'm an adult, I long for the simpler days of my youth, when everything was...well, pretty amazing. My 90's loving self can't tell you how excited I am that the 90's are all the rage right now.  Since the 90's have been revived (I've been waiting for this moment since New Year's Eve of 1999), I thought I'd share with you some some facts from our younger days that will blow your mind and leave you reminiscing.

Steve Urkel Is All Grown Up

Remember Steve Urkel? Remember when you found out that Jaleel White didn't look anything in real life like the character he played on "Family Matters?"  Yeah. By the way, he's 41-years old now.

Our Kids Have Never Had a SqueezeIt

It's been 17 years since we've been able to sip on some SqueezeIt (every kid was envious of their classmate who showed up with one of those in their lunchbox at school) and just as long since we've been able to enjoy a lemon-flavored Pepsi Twist (except for that really short time when it was re-released in the Summer of 2008 with the NFL Kickoff Limited Edition Flavor).

Gwen and Eve Have a Classic on Their Hands

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are yesterday's news and so is the once insanely popular duet that Gwen did with Eve called, Let Me Blow Your Mind." Can you believe that the song is already 17 years-old? 17 years. It won't be long before the song is considered a "classic" hit. How is that even possible?

14 Years Ago, One of the Greatest Phones Hit Shelves

It was 11 years ago that the first iPhone went on sale, but it's been 14 years since the Motorola Razor hit the market. You know, the cool flip phone that everyone HAD to have. These days, my three-year-old walks around with my old flip phone like a boss. Back then I would have been appalled if someone had suggested I'd find it stuffed in a box 14 years later and let my kid play with it!

"Friends" Is Now Older Than Most of Our Kids

The first "Friends" episode aired 24 years ago... and the final episode aired 13 years ago. If you're keeping track, the Motorola flip phone came out the same year that "Friends" walked out of our lives.

Disney VHS Tapes Are Practically Extinct

It's been 11 years since we've been able to buy a classic Disney VHS tape and my little boy thanks you for unloading all your Disney VHS tapes at Salvation Army and Goodwill because we've snagged virtually every Disney VHS tape known to man for .97 each. I always knew that holding on to my old VCR would be a good idea!

The "Macarena" Is Officially Legal Age

Ah, yes the "Macarena." The song that nobody really knew the words to, so we just faked our way through it while doing the dance. The "Macarena" is legal this year, turning 21.
