Authorities say 54-year-old William Nichols reportedly rode up to the drive-thru at around noon March 31 on a motorized bicycle and gave the clerk a noting saying he had a knife and was robbing the place.

The tellers filled his bag with money and he motored off with over $2,000. But Troopers caught up with Nichols on State Route 6 and took him into custody.

Nichols is charged with robbery and making terroristic threats.
