Would You Scream for Mustard Ice Cream? [VIDEO]

Looking for a new flavor of ice cream? This one is on the adventurous side.

French's Mustard has announced that they are making mustard ice cream. Yes, mustard ice cream! They made the creation in honor of “National Mustard Day”, August 3rd.

They wanted to do something different and they decided it was time for mustard to be put in ice cream.

According to McCormick's website, it's only going to be available for a limited time and it's only going to be available in New York City and Los Angeles. There is a video below that shows you how to make mustard ice cream at home.

I love going out for ice cream in the summer. We have a bunch of different places that we go to get ice cream as a treat, especially on a hot night.

Whether it's Humdingers on Upper Front Street, The Big Dipper in Apalachin, Scoopy Dooby's by NYSEG Stadium, or even Smarties Ice Cream right down the street from my house in Endicott, Chris and I usually go for ice cream a couple of times a month during the season.

I have my favorite go-to ice creams including chocolate chip mint, panda paws, and anything with blueberry or raspberry in it. But every time we visit an ice cream shop, I always peruse all the different options that are available. There are some nights where I'm in the mood to try something different, and this would definitely be something different.

I read a review somewhere that said it tastes good with just a hint of mustard flavor as an aftertaste.

I personally would much rather put their mustard on a hot dog or a liverwurst sandwich, but I would definitely give it a try if one of my favorite local ice cream shops where to carry it.
