One TikToker is turning heads with her stunning 14K Iris and black diamond in her prosthetic eye.

In a previous TikTok video, Salina Moreno, user @eye_am_sal_, shared her story of how she came to need a glass eye.

"When I was a baby, I had cancer it [my left eye] had to be removed to save the vision in my right eye and my life," she shared. According to Daily Mail, she was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma when she was one year old after her parents noticed that she had a white glow in her eye.

"My parents were left with the decision to try and save my eye by doing chemo and radiation treatments but that would risk the cancer spreading to my other eye and leaving me completely blind or it spreading to my brain and being dead," she added. "Or I had the choice to remove my left eye and be cancer-free! The doctors didn't completely agree with removing my eye but came to an agreement when the doctor confirmed it, I could no longer see out of my right eye."

Moreno shared that she dealt with insecurities over the loss of her eye and would frequently hide it by swopping her bangs over her left eye socket. She then gained the confidence to embrace her true self and she encourages everyone to do the same once they're ready. She created the TikTok account amid the COVID lockdown to spread awareness about her condition and to hopefully inspire others. She frequently answers questions about her eye.

Moreno explained that people in public do stare at her, but nobody has actually said anything to her. She believes that some people might think that she's wearing one contact lens.

She also answered the frequent question of how her prosthetic eye moves like her normal eye. When she had the eye surgery as a baby, the surgeon was able to place an implant behind her eye socket in order for it to have some mobility.

When a commenter questioned why she would create such an elaborate glass eye, she used the viral sound "Why not?" and wrote, "Making the best out of an unfortunate situation."
