Woman Dies After Being Struck By Vehicle in Endwell
An Endicott woman has died of injuries when she was struck by a vehicle was crossing a town of Union street.
Authorities say 85-year-old Antoinette Wenner died Sunday at Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.
According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Wenner was crossing Nebraska Avenue in Endwell when she was hit by a vehicle turning from East Main Street.
Investigators say the incident happened around 10:15 a.m. Saturday. They say the vehicle was driven by 30-year-old Angela Lamonica of Vestal.
The sheriff's office's Accident Reconstruction Unit and detective division sent investigators to the scene.
Officials say no tickets have been issued in connection with the incident. They say the investigation is continuing.
