The class of 2020 has gone through something no other graduating class in history has.  Most high school seniors around the country had there senior year altered in the middle of March when the schools closed due to the pandemic.

Due to the Coronavirus, 2020 high school seniors were unable to enjoy proms, graduation ceremonies, graduation parties, and the chance to say goodbye to all their friends on the last day of school. They finished up their last year of high school at home learning on a computer.

A lot of school districts here in the Binghamton area have paid tribute to their seniors to give them the recognition they deserve. Schools like Maine-Endwell, Vestal, and Endicott to name a few, put yard signs in the front yards of every senior's home.

Susquehanna Valley and Johnson City put pictures of their seniors on the chain link fences at their schools to congratulate them. All of those were very nice gestures, but the Windsor Central School District has trumped them all.

The Windsor Central School District's bus drivers used 22 buses, parked strategically, to make a huge 2020. Faculty and the bus drivers wrote the names of every senior on the blacktop in the parking lot in between the buses. Windsor Central High School had 119 graduating seniors this year. There was also a banner on the side of one of the buses congratulating all the seniors. People Magazine actually featured the pictures on their website. You can see all of the pictures below.

Congratulations to all graduating seniors throughout the Binghamton area, and congratulations to the Windsor Central School District for a great tribute to the 2020 seniors.
