“So why don’t you slide.….” if I close my eyes, I can literally feel the sun on my face and the smell of the fall air as I cruised down the highway in my convertible with my sister in the seat next to me, singing this at the top of our lungs.

It was September of 1998. I was 18-years-old and my sister was 10 and although there was a hefty difference between the two of us, one of the things we had in common was our love of the Goo Goo Dolls. 21 years later and my sister and I are still in love with the Goo Goo Dolls. Several years after that fall day, I found myself face to face with Johnny Reznick and the first person I called was my sister. I was squealing so hard that she couldn't make out anything I was saying other than "Goo Goo Dolls," and that was enough to send her into a fit of excited squealing, too.

One of the first concerts I took my husband to was to see Train and he became an instant fan. As a matter of fact, after we got married, he changed his ringtone for when I'd call to 'Her Eyes' (performed by Pat Monahan, lead singer of Train) because he said it described me to a "T." While I love that song, my favorite Train song will always be 'When I Look to the Sky' because it reminds me of a special friend who passed away before his time.

No matter what your favorite Goo Goo Dolls or Train song is, you'll love reliving all of your special memories because the New Kiss 104.1 has your chance to win a pair of tickets to their show at Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton on Thursday, August 1st. Listen each weekday during our 104 minutes of commercial-free music (after the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show) for a Goo Goo Dolls or Train phrase (the word will be obvious, I promise) and when you hear it, enter to win below!

Ten winners will be selected at random using a computer generated program. Standard contest rules apply. Winners will be notified on Monday, July 28, 2019.
