Whitney Point Woman Accused of Stabbing Husband

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say a Whitney Point woman is charged with felony assault, accused of stabbing her husband in the back during a domestic dispute.

Officials say 40-year-old Jennifer Figuerado reportedly stabbed Anthony Figuerado at around 11 p.m. November 24, then took the only phone in their Swan Hill Road home, preventing him from calling for help.

In addition to assault, the woman is charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.
