Last week was National Dog Day and people celebrated by posting pictures of their "best friend" all over Facebook. I put up pictures of Bentley, and I don't think I'm alone in my obsession for my little pooch. Facebook is a place where you can obsess over your loved ones, right? You always see pictures of people posting their significant other as well. So the question was raised what would be more devastating, a break up or your dog running away?

A new survey was done asking people what they would be more upset about their dog running away or going through a break up?

On a pain scale of 1 to 10 people said that losing their dog is a 9.1 and a break up is an 8.8.

8% of people admitted that they love their dog more than their significant other! Have to say they trust their dog and their spouse equally. I find that one to be odd. And 71% said that they probably wouldn't date someone their dog didn't like them.

For me right now I think that if my dog ran away on a pain scale of 1 to 10 it would be 100! And worse than a break up. But maybe that's because I'm not in a relationship. The study talked about people not dating someone if they're dog didn't like them well I wouldn't date someone who didn't like my dog.

So what would be more devastating to you? A break up or your dog running away?
