News came earlier this week that Dollar General would create early morning shopping just for senior shoppers and on Wednesday, Tops also created early senior shopping hours on Tuesday and Thursday.

According to WIVB, Walmart is the latest store to offer early shopping for seniors.

From March 24th to April 28th Walmart will have the first hour of shopping every Tuesday for shoppers 60-years of age or older.

Walmart is changing their hours as well. Their hours open will now be 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., unless a specific Walmart usually opens later. Starting next Tuesday, seniors will be able to shop 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Pharmacies and vision centers will also be open at 7 a.m.

This from Walmart, courtesy of WIVB:

"We know our older customers could be more vulnerable to the coronavirus and to better support them, Walmart is offering special shopping hours. From March 24 through April 28, Walmart stores will host an hour-long senior shopping event every Tuesday for customers aged 60 and older."

"This will start one hour before the store opens. Our Pharmacies and Vision Centers will also be open during this time."

Item limitations will also be enforced, which include toilet paper, milk, eggs, cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, water, diapers, wipes, formula and baby food.
