United Way Takes Top Honor As America’s Favorite Charity

In the midst of the giving season, the Chronicle of Philanthropy released their list of America's Favorite Charities and the United Way took top honors with a #1 ranking on the list according to a press release from the United Way.  Two of the top philanthropy trade media publications have released their annual rankings of America’s charities: both the Chronicle of Philanthropy and the NonProfit Times’ put the United Way in their lists of best charities.  NPT 2019 Top 100 shows that the United Way is #1 in public support. Revenue generated is the key ingredient for the rankings.

The top ranking for the United Way seems to signify that those that donate to this community based non-profit organization, want to support their local community and those in need.
