U.S. Attorney Northern District Office Joins Twitter

Residents can find out more about law enforcement efforts conducted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York that includes the Southern Tier.

The office has begun posting on a U.S. Department of Justice Twitter account to provide news and information.  The account is: @USAO_NDNY.

Officials say the Twitter account provides immediate information about the work on federal criminal and civil cases, victim support efforts and crime prevention.

The Northern District of New York covers 32 counties from the Finger Lakes to New England and from Canada to Pennsylvania and has an office in Binghamton as well as Albany, Syracuse and Plattsburgh.
