Two Binghamton men are facing felony counts after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force raided two apartments in the City.

Forty-two year old Corey Bailey and 53-year-old Gary Picott are charged with several counts of drug possession, including possession with intent to sell after cocaine, heroin and other materials were found in the apartments on North Street Friday, February 23.

SIU officers, along with the Metro SWAT Team confiscated about 13 grams of cocaine, some heroin, drug packaging materials, over an ounce of marijuana and about $1,500 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Authorities say Bailey also had active warrants out of the City of New York for felony robbery and misdemeanor resisting arrest and is a New York State Parole Absconder

In the Binghamton raid, Bailey is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony criminal possession of over one-eighth ounce of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and criminal possession of marijuana.

Picott is charged with three felony counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession with intent to sell as well as misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both men were sent to the Broome County Jail.
