Broome County is recording four more deaths associated with the coronavirus pandemic in the past day. Two men and two women in their 90s passed away bringing the death toll to 308.  Broome’s total number of cases since the start of the pandemic stands at 13,858.

Chenango County added 38 cases for a total of 2,376 while the death toll remains unchanged at 50.  Cortland County recorded 17 additional cases from February 21 for a total of 3,608.  Deaths remain unchanged at 61. Delaware County recorded an additional death over the weekend for a total of 41.  Delaware’s total number of cases only went up seven from the previous day with a report February 22 of 1,459.  Tioga County added 12 cases from its last report on February 20 for a total of 2,808.  Deaths remain unchanged at 69.

Pennsylvania’s rate of new infections continues to fall for the week while one Northern Tier County showed an uptick in infections.

While Bradford, Susquehanna and Wayne County had been seeing smaller jumps in infections, Bradford’s new cases rose last week by 92 while the previous week cases had increased by 73.  Bradford has had 4,270 cases since the start of the pandemic and 75 deaths (adding two from last week).  Susquehanna County added 22 cases for a total of 1,667. Deaths were unchanged at 53. And Wayne County recorded 65 new cases for a total of 2,967 and two more deaths for a total of 65.
